Drehmal: APOTHEOSIS v2.2.2 Changelog

Hey everyone, been a while! Here's a new minor update, almost entirely done by Elmer, that includes some changes, balance tweaks, a ton of fixes, and minor additions to make testing the map easier.


Added/Tweaked Features

  • Changed trade for Dusps armor trim from Gay Apple to rainbow banner

  • Updated textures for celestial armor trims and crafted legendary preview item to match the actual item 

  • Added extra visual effects for Zenith and Oblivion

  • Updated item textures for various items (Pale Ore, silent artifact, Nail, Coiled Nail, Rusty Sword, Slime Chrysalis, Talisman of Growth)

  • Legendary/Mythicals now need to be unlocked before being able to craft them

  • Added 3 missing advancements from the 1.17.1 version

  • Added a new ??? advancement

Balance Changes

  • WarpHorse Armor

    • Added custom texture

  • Flammer

    • Now a stone pickaxe

    • Added Efficiency 3

  • Orchidaceae

    • 6 -> 8 Attack Damage

  • Thundercrux

    • Ability now deals 60% more damage

  • Rehntite Platemail

    • Knocks back enemies much further

  • Hovadchear's Greathammer

    • Reduced Armor Shred to 30%

    • Updated texture

  • Parenchyma

    • Removed armor stat

    • Increased regen effect

  • Eyebiter

    • Should now reflect all magical projectiles

    • Closed eye texture when not in use

  • Voidtear

    • Complete ability rework - can be thrown, gain speed boost when picked up and refreshes invisibility

    • Deals more damage from behind

  • Eldermead

    • Now has 5 stacks

    • Now requires a bottle for crafting, returns bottle when consumed

    • Added particle effects when consumed

  • Malevolentia

    • Nerfed ability's Resistance, now grants level 2 at max, and level 1 at anything other than max


Fixes

  • Fixed a LOT of typos (250+)

  • Fixed various item formatting and held item display issues

  • Fixed issues with spawn points not being set or resetting improperly

  • Fixed certain enemies and weapons dealing absurd damage

  • Fixed cheese prevention in certain areas by building up

  • Invulnerability now granted to players in specific loading areas

  • Fixed bug causing some Mythicals to be deleted or duplicated

  • Fixed major bugs related to Mythicals abilities

  • Fixed bugs affecting Mythical and Legendary PvP scenarios

  • Fixed issues with armor formatting and stats

  • Fixed biome-specific textures for improved consistency

  • Fixed visual bugs with entity rendering

  • Fixed ambient music playback to function properly

  • Fixed animations so they continue playing even when the player leaves the area

  • Fixed various biome-specific issues

  • Fixed misplaced blocks and rough border

  • Fixed main story area bug that made it nearly unplayable

  • Fixed missing or misplaced chests and loot

  • Fixed inconsistencies with dates and locations across the game

  • Fixed errors appearing in console/server logs

  • Major optimization applied to various areas of the game

  • Backend changes to render/simulation distances, removing minimum requirements

  • Improved scoreboard backup system with dozens of additions to ensure seamless recovery after crashes

  • Added multiple failsafes to prevent issues caused by crashes

  • Fixed inconsistencies related to dates and locations

  • Fixed mipmapping bug that caused graphical issues

  • Fixed puzzles breaking or resetting improperly

  • Fixed Terminus dialogue and item drop issues

  • Fixed Warphorse bugs, including texture and functionality issues

  • Added failsafes to Warphorse systems

  • Fixed duplicate Shackled Sentinels

  • Fixed some Terminus biomes not appearing as their actual biome counterparts

  • Fixed rain/thunder appearing before starting the game

  • Fixed incorrect damage types used on Exodus and Yavhlix ranged enemies (Bifurcated > Shot)

  • Fixed Exodus Vault door being able to be paused if you stood on the side or went through

  • Fixed Mt. Yavhlix tower sign that just said "MT"

  • Fixed Whispersong not working in offhand

  • Fixed inconsistencies with some villager trades

  • Fixed bug with Aurastaff of Permafrosts sometimes disappearing

  • Massively increased Aphelion shuttle performance by using display entities and fixed a 

    bug with the seats being offset

  • Removed Blindness from the Resonant Halls water section - you can swim now!

  • Disabled Frostwalker in the Resonant Halls water section

  • Fixed Celestial Alloy armor trim textures

  • Fixed internal inconsistencies with various item descriptions



New Debug Commands

  • function dev:devmode

    • Enables or disables developer mode. Allows access to specific areas that force gamemode and disables some triggers. Toggleable.

  • function dev:checkversion

    • Verifies the current version of the game, ensuring compatibility and accurate updates.

  • function dev:feedback

    • Provides a quick method to send in feedback or debug logs during testing. Toggleable.

  • function dev:heal

    • Instantly restores the player's health to full, useful for survival testing or recovery during development.

  • function dev:sethost

    • Designates the current player as the "host," and removes all other hosts, enabling them to lock the settings menu.

  • function dev:strength

  • function dev:night_vision

  • function dev:tetra

    • Provides the player with an updated Tetra tome, allowing teleportation to any of the listed areas.

  • function dev:give/artifacts/<artifact_name>

    • Gives the player any artifacts.Use all common letters and use underscores (_) in place of spaces in the artifact name.

  • function dev:give/misc

    • Gives the players some misc/one off items.

  • function dev:summon/<name>

    • Summons any interactables at the player's position.
